My gaming group and I had discussed some things a while back, now I'm looking for them again, and can't find them..

I recall a spell that functioned as Reincarnate, but had half the material cost and only functioned if cast within 1 or 2 rounds of the target dying.

Also remember a golem arm, similar to the Mythril Arm, but the illustration I remember doesn't accompany the Mythril Arm in A&EG (or whatever books it in). The illustration in question is of a male character in profile with his left arm toward you as you look at the page, and his left arm has a very "winter soldier" vibe.

Neither is a big issue, just kind of annoyed that I recall these things pretty clearly and now I can't find them. Just figured I'd ask the web sages if I'm going crazy or not. Would like the spell really, our party is in a place where I don't know when we're going to be able to re-up on supplies and would like to maximize my available materials (yes even at the expense of action economy).

Thanks in advance

Don't recall a picture, but Arm of Nyr from Defenders of the Faith seems to fit your second description. The Reincarnate version of Revivify doesn't ring a bell though.

That might be Revivify (which is more like Raise Dead than Reincarnate - the "max 1 round after death" limitation being what's distinctive about it). I think it may first have appeared in the Miniatures Handbook before going on to appear in several other books.

1. Last Breath, from Spell Compendium.
2. Mighty Arms, from Faiths of Eberron.

I was going to suggest half-golem for the arm, but seems like others have already nailed it.

Yes on last breath. Went through the Druid lists in SpC the other night, def was agitated, probably why I missed it. Thank you.

Could have sworn the arm illustration was silvery and more sleek looking, and the item had a description more like Mithril Arm. Also not sure if there was a person in the illustration like there is with Mighty Arms, but I've been on disability and almost constant pain killers for a back injury since march and I can almost feel my brain turning to mush so I could very well be wrong. Thanks for the replies.

Edit: Arm of Nyr seems like what I was thinking, must be wrong about the illustration.

Edit2: the look on the orcs face seems more familiar the more I look at it, I must have combined the 2 in my head or something, because reading the Arm of Nyr again and realizing how awesome it is, it's definitely what I was thinking of. And further evidence my brain is shot, now I can't find any mention of a Mithril Arm (by that name anyway) outside of the home brew pages on d20pfsrd.

Thanks for the help guys. Gonna have to start keeping better notes on things.

Could #2 have been Renegade Mastermaker (from Magic of Eberron)? Having a tough time finding an image of it online, but it's on page 83 with a very Winter Soldier-ish character picture.

Regarding the arm, it's also possible what you saw may have been an artifact from the Dragonlance campaign setting called the Silver Arm of Ergoth (http://forgottenlance.com/artifacts/ergoth.htm).

Renegade Mastermaker and Silver Arm of Ergoth both look pretty cool, but neither are in books I have, don't think they were what I was thinking of.

When I was a cop, this was my beat.
I’m the Black Dog and when I bite I don’t let go.
I have no regrets about her,

but I’ll settle this score on my own turf.
