Hey all! I am currently tuning a game that draws heavy inspiration from the plot of final fantasy four (and by heavy inspirations I mean basically rips off some major plot points) I keep running into problems with transferring Palom and Porom over to the Pathfinder system...For those who don't know Palom and Porom are twins that specialize in white and black magic. They are pretty much opposites, but they have one of the most unique abillities in the game. They can combine their powers to create a powerful "twin" move that is extremely powerful (at least early on). I want their pathfinder equivilants to also rely heavily on teamwork while having opposite power sets...any ideas?

Twincast is just 2 spells though, 4 iirc in remakes with special gear? It wouldn't be hard to port a limited version of circle magic into pathfinder from 3.5, or the cooperative spellcasting feat. Might need a tweak but it's a small enough that it really shouldn't matter.

They each take a fullround action and use their highest available spellslot to jointly cast a spell, which does 1d6 per slot total, so 2 6th level slots would give you 12d6, of unresistable mag8c damage. Or do like a 25 per cent chance to do plus 50 per cent damage. It takes a while and it usually inferior to just casting 2 black magic spells, but it's pretty much unresistable so there is that.
