Next campaign we'll be using the Automatic Bonus Progression and one think I noticed about ABP is that it assumes you only ever get a +5 weapon rather than a +10 weapon. It's impossible to have, say, a +5 Vorpal Longsword with ABP unless you spend all of your Legendary Gifts on it.

However, Unique Weapons and Armors are at an advantage. Unique Weapons and Armor are almost always overpriced and have terrible mechanical benefits, but in an ABP campaign, they are at an advantage because you get their special qualities for free (from an enhancement bonus perspective). For example, buying a Pistol of the Infinite Sky gives you the quality of infinite bullets + self reloading without having to pay for the "+5" in any way.

What are some other Unique Weapons and Armor that might be worth a look?

Slaying arrows are a bargain, moreso if you can craft them yourself. They only rely on hitting the target, so the +1 is not really a big deal to begin with.
The mammoth lance (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/magic-weapons/specific-magic-weapons/mammoth-lance/) is still expensive, but if your animal companion is benefitting from ABP then it is even more powerful. On a mammoth rider it becomes beastly.
The assasin's dagger is fairly cheap without the +2, and well worth the bonus to the death attack.

Soothsayer's rainment (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/Magic-items/magic-armor/specific-magic-armor/soothsayer-s-raiment) is pretty good except for the part where it limits your armor bonus. The price is still pretty high but increasing divination success and a free revelation is worth it.

If you can convince your DM to allow rings and wonderous items but cut the price for their bonuses, the shifter's headband is an absolute must for any polymorph character.
