Come hither, and behold - or read,
an opportunity for thoughts to breed,
for words of power to spill out,
what your thoughts are all about.

You need no verse, nor rhyme nor reason,
to demand the story is high treason.
If poetry is in your heart,
be not afraid to share your art.

Fair is foul and foul is fair,
I cannot feel and do not care

The day is long, the sun shines bright,
but I feel lost and cold inside.
Some day it ends, hopefully swift,
maybe death can fill the rift.
I struggle every day it seems,
I tried so much, no one redeems.
I feel so much, it fills my soul,
I almost burst, yet am not whole.

Wish I could share my wine with you,
so we could cast the dark anew
in song and wine, a fleeting haze,
we could forget the cursed maze.
Would it matter? Would I care?
At least we had someone to share...

So rather suffer all alone,
with no one there to see the frown,
no one who knows the deepest fright,
to be a beacon in the night?

Covered in ashes, burned time and again,
I know this song, sing its refrain...
Soothing water, flaming blaze,
doesn't matter, in this craze
either one will be a gain
as both can finally end the pain.
