See title lol. I have a melee heavy team so I wanna be a good bard and give them as much advantage as possible!

I changed flanking from Advantage to an added d4. If the attack hits, then the number rolled on the d4 is extra damage. My players like it. It's like a mini-bless.
I would be tempted to steal from 3.5 and just give a +2 and function like advantage giving (sneak attack and the like). Granted I like it because it's a counter to mundane shield bonus.
The +1d4 works well enough, as it averages to more or less the same thing.
