Have anyone ever roleplayed a depressed character. Because I'm thinking of roleplaying a depressed character that have a very sad backstory. The character that I'm playing is A True Neutral Male Human Cleric Of Fharlanghn. His backstory: His family and friends was killed by a huge group of orcs when he was a child. He was an adopted by a his adopted mother and father who worshipped Fharlanghn and he started going to the church of Fharlanghn. When he transitioned into adulthood, his adopted parents mysteriously died and he was under depression. Now that he have no one in his life. He start adventuring hoping to find happiness. So anyway I want to know how can I be successful roleplaying a very depressed character. Any advice anyone?
