Well, in more narrative games than Pathfinder/3x, your character throwing dice as weapons is trivial. But here, we're a bit more constrained by rules.

So, how can we create combat dice? And of course, we'll be packing d4 charges, but aside from that.

Preferably, these would have like...very sharp edges and points, and weighted such that they can be thrown (and always come up 6). Hmm... know what? Just reskin daggers...and now you're a martial character using the worst build archetype in pathfinder, with one of the lowest damage dice. OK nevermind.

Using Dreamscarred Press? Grab Narcissism (The Specialist) for infinite copies of a weapon that you don't need to draw, with good riders on the attacks. Alternatively (or in addition), be a Night Terror Vigilante with the Magic Tricks talent to quickdraw non-weapons, and use BOTH an amulet of mighty fists and gloves of improvised might (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/e-g/gloves-of-improvised-might/) to enhance your dice. And throw on a body wrap of mighty strikes (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/a-b/body-wrap-of-mighty-strikes/) for a third form of enhancement.

Using Spheres? Crushing Thrower is a talent that lets you turn your throwing build into a ranged melee build, using whatever juicy melee effects you can find. That's something archery can't do. Look in Barroom Sphere for improvised weapon stuff.

Using only Paizo stuff? Heh, good luck.

Regardless, don't forget Surprise Weapon (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/combat-traits/surprise-weapon/). +2 to attack for the cost of 1 trait.

Well, using Paizo material, you could e.g.
Base dice on shuriken and make a ninja with Flurry Of Stars and lots of sneak attack.
Use the stats for playing cards and combine with Card Caster Magus.
Be a warpriest of the god of gambling so your dice deal 2d6 baseline damage each.

FOr SoP, off the top of my head something like this:

Dice Blast (blast type)
Your destructive blast becomes a stream of dice, dealing piercing damage, and using d4s for damage dice instead of d6s. Any creature damaged by the blast is staggered for 1 round. (stepping on d4s hurts)

Could go for difficult terrain and add a save to the stagger I suppose. Use the focus caster drawback so you have to hold your lucky dice to cast. Maybe somatic casting to roll them or material casting if you want to actually throw the dice to cast.

I know this is for Pathfinder, but I feel obliged to mention the Fist of Emirikol (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20030713b): a magical d20 that you throw at enemies with a random effect if it hits.

Seconding telekineticist. Take telekinetic boomerang if you want to re-use your 1sp dice between attacks.
