Well, it bears a strong resemblance to the 3rd-edition race Hengeyokai.

A quick check turns up official versions of hengeyokai for 3.0, 3.5, Pathfinder, and maybe 4e. But I wasn't able to find anything for 5e.

There is at least one other homebrew update of hengeyokai to 5e, if you'd like to compare.

I like. It seems balanced. I might allow verbal spellcasting in any form. I don't think that would upset the balance of the race.

I checked it out, it's pretty neat.
I like mine better from a lore perspective. And not having to mess with alternate abilities of animals like flight. But it was interesting to read. I do like that individual animals have different stats. But that's a hard path to walk detailing every individual animal. Which is why I did it how i did
