Is It Possible To Play A Gem Half-Dragon Character In The Game?

Hey everybody I know this is a very stupid question however I know it already covers metallic and chormatic half-dragons but it doesn't cover gem half-dragons. So my question is it possible to play a gem half-dragon character in the game? :confused:

Pretty sure half-dragon abilities for the Gem dragons have been presented somewhere, although I'm posting away from resources and can't confirm where right now. I would guess Draconomicon or Races of the Dragon as the books most concerned with that kind of material.

Indeed. This is the most recent and complete list of half-dragon varieties (pages 69 - 72).

Amethyst, Crystal, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz are all there.

If you want the equivalent to the dragon disciple, there's the Diamond Dragon prestige class, but it doesn't quite turn you into a half-dragon at level 10, sadly.
