I am looking for a spell no higher than 2nd level, which allows the caster to enter the dream of the target. I plan to use this as a spell like ability, and it cannot be 3rd party.

Why does this spell need to be no higher than level 2? Also, does it need to be a spell, or can it be any magical/supernatural effect? I think occult rituals would be good for this.

Um, Lucid Dreaming skill, maybe?

Minor Dream (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/m/minor-dream/) is 2nd level for an Alchemist, Medium, or Witch (3rd for a Bard, Mesmerist, Psychic, Sorcerer, or Wizard).

Why does this spell need to be no higher than level 2?

At a guess, given the PbP Recruitments he tends to frequent, he's making a Race Builder character, and Spell-like Ability (Lesser) only allows 2nd level spells or below.

Going by that assumption, I think you'd be better off taking the Dreamspeaker racial ability instead, MonkeySage.

Dreamspeaker (2 RP)
Prerequisites: None.

Benefit: Members of this race gain a +1 bonus to the saving throw DCs of spells of the divination school and spells that produce sleep effects that they cast. In addition, members of this race with a Charisma score of 15 or higher also gain the following spell-like ability (the caster level is equal to the user’s character level):

1/day—dream

Dream Travel is an 8th level spell.

Aye, a male half night hag tiefling.
If this is the Golarion setting, all hag relationships create changelings.

It's not Golarion: I always use my own settings.
