I've never really been able to find this out
do half-minotaurs naturally have 10 ft reach or just 5?
the closest thing I could find to an answer is from the Creature Size Changer (https://www.realmshelps.net/monsters/advancing.shtml), but I've never heard an official ruling on this
is there something from Dragon Mag or Savage Species or something that can clear this up?

Assuming the template is applied to a human-shaped creature, they should have 10 ft reach. I don't have anything to cite at the moment, but under this assumption, the half-minotaur would be large with a tall body type. The default for that is to have 10 foot reach, and without something specific to override that, you should go with that.

You won't get it outright declared as "Half-minotaur humans have 10' reach."

Here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/movementPositionAndDistance.htm#bigandLittleCreatu resInCombat) is the SRD link to the general rule. If the base is a medium(tall) creature you get 10' reach, for example.

Half-minotaurs, as large creatures, have 10 foot reach.
