So...

If the gods created this world, and this world is both 4th Wall Breaking and Self-Aware, did the gods also create the worlds Audience? Was I created by a stick figure god? Or is there an in-universe audience created by stick figure gods? Or are the gods themselves the audience?

I reckon gods and mortals know they're being watched by various out-of-universe audiences and having an interesting story and drama to their particular audience can grant plot armour and other good fortune. How actions lead to audience interference and its form is barely understood. Merely pandering to their audience makes a boring story, so fourth wall breaking and fan service must be rare and well placed. Mortals pandering to gods is common as that is better understood benefits and goes down well with audiences.
