I'm changing the core mechanics very little, but radically changing the way classes are structured and including some basic feats for classes for free - denoted by descriptor words for each class. Just keep reading if you're confused...

Base Attack Bonus is changed a bit - no longer just 3 types.
Martial BAB = 1 + 1.25/level
Militant BAB = 1 + 1/level
Aggressive BAB = 1 + .75/level
Average BAB = .75 + .75/level
Poor BAB = .5 + .75/level
poor BAB = .5 + .5/level

Same thing for Saves
Great F/R/W 3 + .5/level plus an additional point at 6th, 11th and 16th levels
Good F/R/W 2 + .5/level plus an additional point at 8th, 13th and 18th levels
Average F/R/W 2 + 1 every 3 additional levels, plus one at 9th and 18th levels
average F/R/W 1 + 1 every 3 additional levels, plus one at 11th and 20th levels
Poor F/R/W 1 + 1 every 3 additional levels, plus one at 14th level
poor F/R/W 0 + 1 every 3 additional levels, plus one at 16th level

And as far as classes go... I'm expending the core classes out to more than the eleven or so generally considered core in D&D vanilla.
Disciplined, Innate, Warrior
Brute
HD: d10
Millitant BAB
Great Fortitude
Good Reflexes
Good Will

Blade
HD: d8
Aggresive BAB
Good Fortitude
Great Reflexes
Good Will
