So...I was updating my AL Druid when I looked over the Staff of the Woodlands she owns, and realized something. The staff lets you cast Pass Without Trace as an action for 0 charges. Arcane Ward has the following wording:
"When you cast an abjuration spell of 1st level or higher, you can simultaneously use a strand of the spell's magic to create a magical ward on yourself that lasts until you finish a long rest. The ward has hit points equal to twice your wizard level + your Intelligence modifier. Whenever you take damage, the ward takes the damage instead. If this damage reduces the ward to 0 hit points, you take any remaining damage.
While the ward has 0 hit points, it can't absorb damage, but its magic remains. Whenever you cast an abjuration spell of 1st level or higher, the ward regains a number of hit points equal to twice the level of the spell."
Would casting Pass Without Trace from a Staff of the Woodlands count for recharging your Arcane Ward? Because if so, it would be incredibly useful for a Druid/Abjuration Wizard. It wouldn't be that useful in combat, I'll admit, but there'd literally be no reason not to reset your Ward back to its max hp after every battle as long as your staff wasn't destroyed. And seeing as I do have a Staff of the Woodlands on one of my characters in AL, I could easily just trade it with an item of the same rarity and from the same table as it.
