Need a level 1 Lathander Cleric

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand in creating a good level 1 lathander cleric. Sourcebook: forgotten realms 3.5

I have already rolled his stats (but not his gold):

Str: 14
Agi: 9
Con: 16
Wis: 16
Cha: 12
Int: 10

I was thinking of switching Int and Cha but I've decided to go with some diplomacy feats/skill. Anyone care to write me up a quick char sheet?

What regions are available? Are regional feats and bonus gear available?

Do you have a racial preference? I think Human is your best bet, for the feat and extra skill points. I'll assume you want ranks in Concentration, Diplomacy and Knowledge (religion).

Negotiator would be a good feat (bonus to Diplomacy and Sense Motive).

Hmm...how Combat-y is your campaign? If it's like a standard D+D campaign, then your ability allocations are probably OK. Personally, I'd go:

Str 10
Dex 9
Con 14
Int 12
Wis 16
Cha 16

And play a Cloistered Cleric (see here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#clericVariantCloistere dCleric) for the specifics), if only because I hate having only 2 skill points per level. Plus it fits the background of your diplomat-cleric more.

The downside is, you're less like the Cleric that everyone expects- frailer and less likely to be able to heal people front-line.
