View Full Version : DM Help Any Creatures With Sonic Resistance?

Are there any creatures that are resistant to sonic damage? Maybe templates?
So far all I have found is 7 levels in the class Stormcaster, which gives 10 Resistance, but I was more so hoping for something of a lower CR than what would be about an ecl 12 character.

Doesn't the spell silence turn off all sonic effects (including damage) while you're within it?

Slaadi are immune to sonic damage.

Both Leonal and Avoral (possibly other guardinals too) have sonic resistance 10

Knell Beetles (MM3) are not only immune to sonic damage, but are healed by it.

CR 10 or 5, depending on whether you go with the greater or lesser variety.

From the same book the Gulgar are 10HD, CR 9 monstrous humanoids with immunity to sonic and some other sound-based abilities.

Destrachan from MM has a unique Sonic resistance of +4 for saves because it can protect its ears.
