In scale 3’-3.5’ tall and 80-120 pounds in weight to 28+mm humans, bald, male or female.

Before I try making a conversion I would like some possible sources (15mm or 18mm figures would also work) for a Character figure I can buy and paint.

Sources?

Reaper has a "Figure Finder" that helps you narrow down options. Going through Male+Gnome+Any+Any got me (http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/02714) these (http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/02942) options (http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/03226). They also had a number of bald "Bloodstone" gnomes who looked (http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/14458) more (http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/14418) goblinoid to me but maybe you'd like them.

While none are bald and they are pre-painted, the Wizkids Wardling (https://www.rpglocker.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=382_383&zenid=n62vnut86479hpbfke5sel60o4) line offers a bunch of child minis in adventuring gear who could easily pass as gnomes (you can also buy them through Amazon, etc). That same website also has a ton of other minis for sale although they're not really searchable and I wasn't going to go through each listing looking for gnomes :smalltongue:

There's always good ole Heroforge (https://www.heroforge.com/) if you want to design your own. I own a couple HF minis and am happy with them. $20-$30 might be steep to spend but, depending on how you value your time, might come out a better deal for a fully customized fig than spending time trying to convert an existing fig into something good enough.

There's also DesktopHero (http://desktophero3d.com/) which allows you to design your own 3D printable models and download the STL files for free but you'll still need to find someone/someplace to print them and the detail seems to be less than Heroforge. Still could be an option. I made this guy (https://i.imgur.com/LrdI5yb.jpg) in a couple minutes.

And, of course, there's always trawling through eBay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nolzurs-Marvelous-Unpainted-Minis-Male-Gnome-Wizard/132831881328?epid=14024832656&hash=item1eed65a870).

Good ideas, thanks.
