well, i emailed one of the fellows at tangledweb, and found out what happened to rpgwebprofiler.net.
From what I have been told, the people running rpgweprofiler.net owned
their own hosting company, which has now gone out of buisness. I have
not gotten ahold of the lead developer yet to confirm this but thats
what one of their devs told me.
according to this fellow, tangledweb is trying to bring over the database from rpgweb, but he didn't have any news on when that'd be. the short of it is, rpgweb is off the air, presumably forever.
go figure.
