Hello all,

I use the character sheet from http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/character_sheets

However, you may want to modify these standard character sheets. Not every section may be as relevant for your campain and/or certain sections are too small/too little. Maybe you want to add pictures? New sections entirely?

I recently found a way to do that extremely easilly without needing to buy Adobe products.

Simply convert the PDF into a PowerPoint format and you can than edit the character sheet in PowerPoint (or a program that can edit PPT files). This conversion can easilly be done for free and online with https://lightpdf.com/

Obviously there are other methods of converting and editting, but this worked out beautifully for me. Note though that I do have the official MS PowerPoint, so I am not sure whether the result is as perfect with other software like OpenOffice.

Also note that through that website you can convert to other formats as well and also into PDF, so might be usefull for other things.

Hope some of you may find this usefull.

Cheers

Working in Elementary-and-lower education, I quickly learned how useful PowerPoint is for visual layout pages, when all my co-workers were still struggling with columns, indents, and word wrap using Word.

It's not the best visual layout page editing application, but it's good enough for almost every use one would need short of the super power user applications, and it's nearly ubiquitous among PCs. I don't regret learning my way around the app at all.
