Thank you all for the advice in another thread that got me thinking about this. Last session we were involved with a trader of sorts. If that happens again I need to make sure I understand the value of my magical items, especially those which require attunement.

Character: Level 7 Lore Bard
Party: Monk, Rogue, Wizard, Fighter who prefers archery, a DOA Ranger who may pick another character
Notes: We level SLOWLY.

In the order I think I should value them:

Periapt of Wound Closure (attunement) https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Periapt%20of%20Wound%20Closure#content Nothing like not dying. We don't have much for healers.

Oath Bow (attunement) https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Oathbow#content It seems like I use this less with time as I get more spell slots, although I should have used it more last night.

Luck Stone (attunement) https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Stone%20of%20Good%20Luck#content This thing helps make me 5% better at everything. Very Bardie and it even made the difference on a Counterspell roll last night.

Quiver of Elhonna https://www.aidedd.org/dnd/om.php?vo=quiver-of-elhonna Like a quirky bag of holding. This I have on loan to our fighter, with his multi-attack he goes through some arrows.

Bag of Devouring http://www.giantitp.com/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=63 You know, I haven't used it much yet. I probably should have used it to dispose of some dead bodies to avoid complications but decided to make a point with them.

Do I have a good idea on these items value to me?

Oath Bow is fantastic and luck stone is solid. The rest are meh IMO.

If you still want to keep the oath bow, I'd focus on spending your spell slots to augment your bow attacks then. Magical secrets for Hail of Arrows and/or Swift Quiver. Those will make you competitive with a ranged fighter or ranger. Not like a dedicated ranged martial build but your DPS should be quite respectable.

TBH I'd trade the Oath Bow to another ranged attacker in your party if you're not getting the best use out of it. The ranged fighter with multiple attacks in particular would see a huge DPS spike with this weapon.

Are you talking about monetary value, or...?

Sort of.

Usefullness is what I'm most concerned about. I was unprepared for this "trader" we encountered but got lucky I think. Monetary value would be interesting though.
