I was just looking at the Dissociatist Summoner Archetype (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner/archetypes/summoner-archetypes-flying-pincushion-games/summoner-archetypes-flying-pincushion-games/) and I'm a little confused by something:

The dissociatist’s eidolon is restricted in the following ways:

The only base forms allowed are bipedal, aquatic, or shadow.

What exactly is the 'shadow' base form? It doesn't seem to exist on the Eidolon (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoneR/eidolons) page. :smallconfused:

It´s a 3PP archetype, so either that is something that is connected to that particular 3PP or the book the archetype originally has been published in.

Alternately, it might be referring to the Shadow Eidolon of the Unchained Summoner (www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/unchained-classes/summoner-unchained/eidolons-unchained/#TOwww.d20pfsrd.com/classes/unchained-classes/summoner-unchained/eidolons-unchained/#TOC-ShadowC-Shadow).

That's not a base form.

Yeah, I think you are right. The book the prestige comes from also offers a lot of other summoner 3rd party content, including three new base forms. (You can see the full description here (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/124631/Into-the-Breach-The-Summoner-PFRPG).) But I don't own the book and I can't find a lot about it online.

It clearly not a first party base form (Here's a full list (http://www.aonprd.com/EidolonBaseForms.aspx).) and it seems it was published before unchained, so that also ain't it.
