So, I live in a relatively small town in Texas. It is a college town, so most of our residents move away in the summer. So, it's a rather small town. Not like Austin or San Antonio (though near both of those). So, when I saw Doug Stanhope was performing at a coffee shop here, I jumped on tickets - $15! For a professional comedian! Sweet!
Anyone else got any good finds in their town. Large cities need not apply, I'm talking small towns that have a good performer stop in despite not having a great venue. This is probably one of the better ones we're getting, though I've heard of the college getting some high name artists to play for the school (but were paid well).
The shows tomorrow, so I'll not be here in the evening. Not like you care.
