Short-Rest Sorcerer
This variant class is the end result of a thought experiment I've been pondering for a while - namely, what would a sorcerer look like if we gave it Warlock casting instead of more standard spell slots?

Since a lot of this would be copy-pasted directly from the book (and since, as far as I'm aware, that's not exactly kosher), I've decided not to reproduce the text here. Other than Pact Boon and Mystic Arcanum (both drawn from the Warlock), hit-points, proficiencies, starting equipment, and unmodified class features are from the Sorcerer class, and this class uses the Sorcerer spell list.

Secrets of the Blood
At 3rd level, you gain two blood secrets of your choice. When you gain certain short-rest sorcerer levels, you gain additional secrets of your choice, as shown in the Secrets Known column of the Short-Rest Sorcerer table. Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the secrets you know and replace it with another secret that you could learn at that level.


Arcane Fusion
Prerequisites: 7th level
Whenever you cast a spell using a sorcerer spell slot, you may cast a cantrip as a bonus action.

High Sorcery
Prerequisites: 11th level
You may spend sorcery points to increase a 5th level spell slot to higher levels, to a maximum of the highest level Mystic Arcanum you may use. The cost in sorcery points is given in the table below. Once you have used this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest.

Imbued Spell
Prerequisites: At least one spell known that requires concentration.
You may attune to spells you know as if they were magic items. You may concentrate on up to two spells at once, as long as you have attuned to at least one of them using this secret.

Metamagic
You gain a metamagic option from the Sorcerer class (PHB p. XX). You may select this secret multiple times, but may only apply one metamagic option to a spell when you cast it, unless otherwise noted.
