What Class would Karn be?

I love Magic the Gathering, and one of my favorite characters is Karn (seen in numerous formats as Karn Silver Golem, Karn Liberated, and Karn Scion of Urza).

Clearly his race is Warforged, but what I want to know is, what would his class be? (Planeswalking aside, which can be fluffed).

Artificer would be appropriate.

Perhaps Beastmaster or Shepherd Druid with the allies refluffed as constructs?

That'd be hard to pull off, because he's a powerful pacifist character.

Warforged Tranquility Monk? Time-Travelling Redemption Paladin? With Artificer levels? It'd be MAD as hell, whatever it is.

Wizard or artificer, if you for some reason really have to slap PC class on him.

He's just an NPC with whatever plot-relevant powers are required at the moment, as are all planeswalkers.

He is a pacifist only during the Weatherlight Saga. Prior to that he was an avid combatant of the Phyrexians, and the Scion of Urza Planeswalker version from Return to Dominaria is definitely combat ready.
