Hey, so I've been updating some third party, 3e monsters to Pathfinder (specifically Scarred Lands stuff), and I've noticed a couple creatures intended to either be mounts or to act like horses, who have feats with Mounted Combat as a prerequisite, like Trample, but the wording of those feats (in both 3e and PF, if I'm not mistaken) only applies them to the creature you're riding, not to yourself, even if you're a creature capable of trampling a la a horse.
Is this an oversight, or is there some rule out there that I haven't read that lets things intended as mounts apply those feats to themselves?
