Hello Folks!!

So... My party always play D&D 5e, but next week we are starting a new campaing using D&D 3.5e
i'm very fond of druid, the spells are fine but wild shape is my love... even when i'm playing bard or wizard i just polymorph myself or my allies to have fun.

As i have little experience with 3.5e what are the most effective builds to transform my character into many monsters?
I know i can go full druid or even ranger wildshape variant and get wild shape feats
I can go to the Master of Many Forms Prestige class
I can go Egoist Psion
Is polymorph better than wild shape? Can i use Supernatural only with metabolic trasfer?

The campaing will be a low magic setting, my party is a Human Fighter, a Human Psion Kineticist, and a NonHuman Wizard. I can use any book.

Edit: First Post here, sorry if i'm at a wrong section and sorry for any language mistakes

Other than the fighter everyone seems to be picking powerful classes. I suggest shifter druid into master of many forms, planar shepherd, warshaper, primeval, or weretouched master.
Momf: turn into anything. You'll need Assume Supernatural Ability to use supernatural abilities. Lose spellcasting progression.
Ps: you choose a plane of existence and become a better druid that can also turn into outsiders from that plane, you get the supernatural abilities.
Primeval: lose casting and choose a single shape to turn into. Basically lycanthrope without the curse.
Warshaper: pairs well with all of these, although it will be a delicate balance on levels
Wtm: full lycanthrope without the curse. Potent (may also want to take moonrunner?)

There are some other builds out there, but they are to make a single aspect of natural fighting better.

I suggest reading UrPriest's guide to monsters, and eggynack's druid guide

I don't understand the rules of the assume supernatural ability, i get one Su of one monster? One Su of all monsters?
Thats why i was thinking going for a Psion Egoist and use Metamorphosis and Metabolic Transfer Feat.

Taking 5 levels of druid and 10 levels of MoMF to transform in a dragon without breath weapons don't seens right. Also sad if a druid can just take draconic wild shape feat and use Su abilities at the same level.

You choose one supernatural ability when you take the feat and get it in any form that possesses the ability. So if you chose breath weapon you would get he breath weapon in any Dragon form, but also any form that had one as well.

If being nongood is an option, you could be a true neutral red wizard of thay OR Greed Sin Magic Specialist. You can get 2 bonus transmutation spells per level that way.

these classes are new to me, but looks like transmutation magic or powers are better than wild shape... so i will take a look at these.
