Can Battlerager Barbarian dump Dex?

Since a Battlerager Barbarian wears spiked armor and doesn't benefit from unarmed defense, can it safely get away with a 12 Dex or am I missing something?

My group is RP heavy so builds don't need to be the absolute most efficient and should bring something to the table out of combat.

The stats I have to work with are 18, 16, 15, 12, 10, 9.

Would this work:
STR: 18 (20 after mtn dwarf)
DEX: 12
CON: 16 (18 after Dwarf)
INT: 10
WIZ: 9
CHA: 15

Or do I need to have Dex higher than 12? If so what do you recommend?

Since you're working with a specific set, the 12 is fine. Spiked Armor is kinda meh for defense anyway. Basically, just know you're going to be hit 5% more often than the same character with a 14 Dex.
