View Full Version : DM Help CoS Death House adventure alternative art?

I'm DM-ing a game of Curse of Strahd and I'm starting with the Death House adventure.
I saw the art for Rose and Thorn and immediately knew that my players wouldn't trust them, since they look very sinister and blue-skinned and just generally not nice.
Does anyone have any alternative images I could use to show my players?

Don't use an image. Just describe them as in the book. Worked like a charm with my players.

Our DM only showed us pics afterwards. Not that we trusted them anyway. The only reason we went in is that our cleric and paladin have very strong mothering/"protect the women and children" inclination..in the case of my cleric, added specifically so she would get into situations that a more cautious/detached character would avoid.
