Kobold press is a 3rd party group that released 2 amazing books full of monsters. One is called “the Tome of Beasts” and the newer one is called “the Creature Codex. Both give a lot of content for the price.
The big thing is that these books are “set” in their homebrew campaign world called Midgard. I recently bought the Midgard world campaign book and I’m super pleased with it. The world is largely based on Eastern Europe mythos which is extremely unique compared to the more “western” fantasy of FR and other more well known campaign worlds.
