As a lvl 3 Blood Hunter. 17 in Dex(+3). That has as a proficiency "Simple Weapon" (+2) [Right?]

Choosing Archery in lvl 2 - That says: +2 in ranged attacks.

And suppose my weapon is a simple ranged that do 1d8.

My hit will do 1d8+Dex+Prof Bonus+Archery. 1d8+7, or the proficiency bonus and archery is the same thing. So my hit will do 1d8+5 instead? Or none of this?

It says +2 to ranged attack rolls which are not the same as damage rolls.

When you roll to hit you gain a +2, making the roll come out to d20+3(dex)+2(Proficiency)+2(Archery Fighting Style). The calculation for your damage doesn't include this fighting style bonus or proficiency, remaining at 1d8+3.

This is not quite correct either. The proficiency bonus is only applied to the attack roll, not the damage roll. So it would be 1d8+3 for damage.

My mistake, this is correct. I'll correct my post also to avoid confusion.
