Is there any source that goes over what body slots different monsters have, for example four legged animal like creatures, beholders, and so forth?

Mostly no, but! It's good you mentioned beholders, because they are one of only a few exceptions. In Lords of Madness, item slots are given for each of the major aberrations covered in the book, including beholders, mind flayers, aboleths, grell, and neogi.

I would recommend looking at the Magic Item Compendium and extrapolate what you can from it.

Ya I am looking at a worg as a character and trying to figure out what body slots it would have, gloves and boots are out, bracers seem reasonable, might be able to do something like earrings instead of rings, necklaces re-skinned into collars, body slot is still good, head and face seem fine with slight modification, belt seems like a maybe...

Besides Lords of Madness, the only other 1st party book with body slots for non-humanoids listed is Draconomicon. But basically, this is DM arbitration stuff. Although you might find examples in published adventures and other NPC sources, I think Champions of Valor has a giant eagle NPC with a ring of protection worn on its foot.

Worgs can at the very least have the body slot since they can wear armor(via magical beast taming and training of a Druid). Presumably since fullplate includes boots, gauntlets, and a helm and there is no special mention of an exception for quadrupeds they can also have feet hands and head slot.

Magic of Incarnum has a section on what chakra slots non-humanoid shaped creatures have; it's not a one to one mapping to the magic item slots, but it's fairly close. You should be able to get a pretty good idea of what general items would fit on various critter shapes from that.

This recently came up in another thread regarding an animal companion. Quadrupeds have all the same body slots as bipeds, magic item compendium page 219, under the size and shape heading.

As a default rule, treat creatures of any shape as having all the normal body slots available. Creatures never gain extra body slots for having extra body parts (for example, a marilith still has only one hands body slot and two rings body slots). For unusual cases, here are some guidelines to help a DM particularly dedicated to details:
[...]
Fingerless Creatures: Creatures without flexible digits or extremities, such as horses, lack the rings body slot. A creature need not be able to manipulate objects to wear rings—a hell hound can wear a ring on a toe of its forelimb.
[...]
Multilegged Creatures: Creatures with more than two legs can treat their foremost pair of limbs as their arms (allowing them access to the arms, hands, and rings body slots), even if those limbs
are used for locomotion rather than for manipulation. Creatures with multiple legs that also have arms (such as centaurs or driders) don’t lack any body slots.
