Dark souls style RPG

Hey everyone, I remember reading about a variation of rules for D&D to run a dark souls style game. There were rules about spending XP to buy equipment and, monsters dropping physical XP and also when you as a character dies you drop XP and can go retrieve it.

I can not remember where i saw this, but if anyone has any information on that please let me know.
