Kaorti resin/ribbon material

So one of my players came across the kaorti material and there is interest in using it, but all the traditional links just point to the same stuff that doesn't help you figure out crafting costs. The only pattern I can see is a 25x base cost comparing the information on Fiend Folio 110 with a regular dagger or suit of leather armor (closest thing to the resin suit that helps establish a pattern that fits).
Or if anybody could flesh out a few examples of how making something would work from the traditional source (below) would be awesome.
