Buy the book so you can have a copy.

Honestly, asking things like this is really offensive towards the producers of the game. You're basically asking assistance for a theft.

He may be asking for the basic rules or a place to buy a pdf.

Actually they combined both the Players and the DM rules into the one Basic Rules pdf you linked to above, back in November.

It's also worth mentioning WotC released a System Reference Document (SRD) which is very similar in purpose to the basic rules. There are a number of places scattered about where you can access it. Roll20 has it integrated into their VTT, and you can find a bunch of other places with it via google.

Legal copies of the basic rules are here. (http://media.wizards.com/2018/dnd/downloads/DnD_BasicRules_2018.pdf)

The SRD is here. (http://media.wizards.com/2016/downloads/DND/SRD-OGL_V5.1.pdf)

Plenty of material there for basic engine of the game, plenty of spells, plenty of monsters.

Sheriff: That seems to cover all the legal options. Thread closed before this goes sideways.
