This is not for a game, yet. This is just idle musings.

Gestalt, 8th level. Archivist into Metaphysical Spellshaper on one side (then Dweomerkeeper after, for fun), Binder 1 (for Naberius) Incarnate +3 (for Strongheart Vest up to 3 points) Wizard +X (for Wizardly goodness).

Obviously going persistomancy shenanigans, since Naberius makes Persisting at the start of the day basically free. With the Strongheart Vest, Quickening only costs 1 point of ability damage (which is healed in one round thanks to Naberius) and a Silent, Still, and Extended spell is free.

Thoughts? Especially on spell choice?

What are the wizard levels actually for?
You will get only one wizard bonus feat every 5 levels and you will get wizard spells a whole lot of levels late.
Maybe some levels in beguiler or dread necromancer could be comparably fun(since you get access to tons of wizard spells anyway due to domains) or maybe a single level dip into cleric.

Wizard is just for extra Int-based spells.

So it is for having more slots to have more active time I guess.

Sheltered Vitality makes one half of your build pretty much useless.

Depends if your DM interprets the "take ability damage; gain X benefit" argument of the Hellfire Warlock to require ability damage taken instead of being outright immune. If so, then the 2nd track is indeed useful... If not, then yes, this exact build could probably be done without gestalt.
