Extra Attack and Thirsting Blade

Just to clarify, Thirsting Blade (Eldritch Invocation) and Extra Attack stack togheter?


Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Blade feature
You can attack with your pact weapon twice, instead of
once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

To expand:

They both say: "You attack twice" and not "You attack an additional time."

So if you apply one feature, you attack twice. You apply both features... you still attack twice.

You get infinite attacks, because one ability makes you attack twice, and the other makes you attack twice for each of those attacks, triggering the first ability, and so on.

Multiclassing rules at p.164 in the PHB specifically mention Thirsting Blade not stacking with Extra Attack.
