Clockwork constructs cost too much and require constant winding for seemingly zero benefit.

Our table already uses the Price by CR guidelines and gives constructs Str to hp instead of hp by size. But we apply these to all constructs so they don't help clockworks b comparison.
The clockwork price hike is part of the clockwork subtype so it still applies and still hurts their viability.

I've a couple of ideas of how to bring clockworks more in line with other PF constructs.
- Change their price hike into an equivalent price cut instead.
- Make them mundane creations that do not require Craft Construct to be made.

I dont know how effective these would be. Other ideas more than welcome please.

I could see a price reduction making the most sense. Beyond that, maybe one could add “feat modules” that grant bonus feats to clockwork creatures or just reduce the price of upgrades.

Alternatively, make the Steam-Powered template a default part.
