I'm working on making an anti hero of sorts with an ex-paladin perhaps going into corrupt avenger class. That being said I don't really want to use the taint mechanic. That being said I need some advice on how to convert the corrupt avenger. Though if there are better PrCs that would fit the character I'm all ears. That being said I'm not in love with the idea of a whiny loner set on murdering anyone that remotely resembles his enemy.
Character concept:
The character in question is a former paladin (perhaps though that is subject to change) of nongood alignment who after losing his wife to a cult of devil worshipers ends up losing his humanity in the hunt for cultists in his revenge. It's a slow corruption but it's through his deeds that he loses his paladinhood rather than taint seeping into him.
