Notes:

Able Learner feat (RoD p.150); all skills cost 1 point/rank - effectively means all current and previous skills are "class skills", in terms of how much they cost
Aereni Focus (PGtE p.20): one skill becomes a permanent class skill, and you get a +3 untyped bonus to that skill. Regional, Elf, 1st level only.
Changeling Rogue Substitution Levels (RoE p.122); 10 skill points/level
Expert (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/npcClasses/expert.htm) (DMG p.109); chose any 10 skills as class skills [6 skill points/level]
Heir of Siberys (ECS p.80); treat all previous class skills as current class skills [2 skill points/level]
High Handcrafter (Shackled City hardcover p.340); in addition to base skills, chose any 6 skills as class skills [6 skill points/level]
Human Paragon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/races/racialParagonClasses.htm#humanParagon) (UA p.43); chose any 10 skills as class skills [4 skill points/level]
Legacy Champion (Wol P.19); treat all previous class skills as current class skills [4 skill points/level]
Memelith template (Dungeon 117 p.29); all skills are considered class skills, and can use skills untrained
Noble (DLCS); adds any one cross-class skills as a class skill at first level [4 skill points/level]
Outsider racial hit dice get 8 skill points per HD, x4 at 1st HD. Maugs get skills for their RHD as if there were Outsiders, despite being Constructs (2 RHD, LA +3)
Survivor (SS p.89); treat all previous class skills as current class skills [2 skill points/level]

Two things I need help with:

1. Is there a list anywhere of all base classes and PrCs that get 8 skill points/level?

2. Is there a list anywhere of all base classes and PrCs that get all skills treated as class skills?

Should probably check my own old threads first: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/editpost.php?p=22990638 :smalltongue:

Hey all,

Just trying to make sure I'm aware of all the classes (base and PrC) that offer all skills as class skills. I'm sure there's some I've missed.

Class
Source
Levels
Skill Points/Level
Special

Ardent Dilettante
Planar Handbook
10
6

Exemplar
Complete Adventurer
10
8

Expert
DMG / SRD
20
6
Chose any ten skills

Factotum
Dungeonscape
20
6

Human Paragon
Unearthed Arcana
3
4
Chose any ten skills

Savant
Dragon Compendium
20
6

Special mention: Heir of Siberys, Legacy Champion and Survivor all treat any previous class skills as current class skills - so combined with one of the above, effectively grant all class skills.

I'll add more as they are suggested.

Cheers - T
If the answer to either of these is no, would anyone like to help me compile such a list?

taking a class that grants all skills along with the able learner feat effectively makes all skills class skills forever.

I only know two base classes that get 8+ skill points; rogue and scout. Changeling rogue gets 10+.

A database search gives me

Dungeon delver
Exemplar
Gatecrasher
Jordain Vizier
Night mask deathbringer
Nightsong infiltrator
Scorpion heritor
Shade Hunter
Spymaster
Twisted Lord
Uncanny Trickster
Yakuza

And that's it for PrCs.

Wow, that's a much shorter list than I had imagined. Thanks for looking them up!

The Ancestral Speaker cleric variant from Dragon Magazine lets you choose any two skills as class skills.

Cerebrex gets 8+INT. I think that eye of the Xanathar does as well.

Both are of highly questionable utility, but you didn’t ask for GOOD classes with 8+INT, after all.

I thought the Factotum was the only class that literally got every skill as a class skill.

Also Ardent Dilettante (Planar Handbook), Exemplar (Complete Adventurer) and Savant (Dragon Compendium).

I'm sure I've looked at all those at some point in the past, just can't remember everything anymore. :smallsigh:

Which is why we write things down!

This should be an interesting resource. You never know when this sort of thing will come in handy.

Wonder if it's worth adding the UA generic classes (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/genericClasses.htm) as a special mention?

It's intended as an alternate system to normal class advancement so I wouldn't.

I don't have (much) access to Dragon mags: I'm guessing there's some 8 skill points/level classes there? Maybe even some "all skills as class skills" contenders?
