3.5's treasure just seemed more varied, and as a gm it made generating treasure kind of fun. But is it unbalanced? A very lucky roll can give my players high valued items which can exceed their recommended net worth for a given level... I'm wondering if that's actually a problem, or whether pathfinder can handle it.
