View Full Version : 3.5e pathfinder campaign setting??

I was looking at https:// molivero . com / dndtools / USRD / srd / variant / variantList.html ( broken up as a security precaution ).

For listing of ACFs for classes. I noticed pathfinder campaign setting for the base phb classes. Did paizo do this in a dragon magazine or something? Google keeps bringing up paizo products of the pathfinder ruleset.

No. There was a very short production run for 3.5 material, including a version of Golarion, the main PF setting and some other stuff, but that was discontinued for obvious reasons.

Since it was by paizo ( I can only assume that Paizo was still WOTC at the time), it is fair game for the wishy-washy party-ness like Dragon magazine and dragon compendium?

Paizo released two versions of the Golarion setting for D&D 3.5: first as the 64-page Pathfinder Chronicles: Gazetteer (https://paizo.com/products/btpy82t7?Pathfinder-Chronicles-Gazetteer), and later as the expanded Pathfinder Chronicles: Campaign Setting. Paizo was never Wizards of the Coast. They've always been separate companies.

Some people have worked for both, and they've employed some of the same freelancers. But they've never been the same company.

No worries.

There are 5 Golorian OGL products listed on https://paizo.com/store/sale/scratchNDent/paizo/pathfinderCampaignSetting.

Two are abandoned/updated areas. Might make for an interesting variant 3.5E game.
