Wow, folks. Apparently I've been part of this forum for ten years. Ten freakin' years! Feb 2009 to Feb 2019 and counting. That's a long time! That's a really long time, especially by the standards of the internet. More or less my whole adult life.
This is a great website with some great people on it. A real community. And don't worry, I'm not leaving or anything. I just wanted to take the opportunity to comment on what seems like a crazy anniversary (note: I don't know the exact day, but we're midway through the month, so that's appropriate).
It feels weird to post this in Friendly Banter because, to be honest, Friendly Banter isn't my home. The 3.5 board is my home here, though I've got what we might call some vacation residences here and there. But, you know, no sense getting in Mod Trouble right when I'm commenting on how long I've been with the forum.
I don't have anything especially profound to say right now. I just don't think I ever would have expected to stick around one website for so long. That really says something about what this place means to me.
Feel free to walk on by and ignore this. There's not a hell of a lot to say. But I just wanted to mark the occasion.
