Hey y誕ll! I am currently playing a level 8 human Shadow Sorcerer/Level 1 Monk (for story reasons, not going to switch off).
I am having trouble choosing my spells, as I知 not that experienced as a spell caster. I currently have the following spells selected, but might consider changing them around. I知 trying to go for more of an Saving Throw AOE type of build, since the party is currently lacking.
Spells: Notice, I do have the Staff of Power, so it gives me some AOE spells.
Cantrips: Firebolt, chill touch, message, minor illusion, mold earth.
1st: Shield, Catapult
2nd: Scorching Ray, Suggestion
3rd: Counterspell, Haste, Tital Wave (currently have Fireball in the staff)
4th: Dimension Door and either Sickening Radiance/Storm Sphere/Vitriloic sphere.
I am also considering Subtle and either Empowered or Careful for my spells.
What do you think of my current list? What should I change around? Any suggestions of feats? Let me know, would love some opinions for a noob spellcaster. Thanks!
