Who else rules these spells wrong x.x

So I just realized Witch bolt only has until damage scaling and earthen grasp doesn't have scaling.

Has any other DM missed this?

I never felt like letting W.B fully scale was an issue

And earthen grasp rarely gets used so I never checked and just assume at 7th level slot it was 7d6 a turn save half.


Anyone else session spells like this XD
Another one I missed was phantasmal force can't b Upcast. Always ruled as target an additional creature with same plantasm effect

Quite a few. And i've taken to correcting some of the more egregious examples at my table as houserules/homebrew. Witch Bolt was one of the first actually.
