I'm currently working in the idea for a half-ogre (or half giant) artificer for a character in an Eberron campaign. It's a mid-op group and I've had the idea for quite awhile. I've built plenty of artificers and meleeficers before but I'm having a hard time picking the race/mechanics. All builds will have 4(ish) levels of a full BAB class
I'm torn between:
Half-ogre using the lost tradition feat (races of renown)
Half-ogre primordial giant
Half-giant primordial giant
Half-giant with lost tradition feat
Whatever the forum can come up with
Assume all half-ogres are half-ogre template applied to a human (only base race DM allowed that I wanted).
NO PSIONICS
Goes (somewhat) against mechanics and lore, but the character will have a dragonmark because its in Eberron.
Any advice on the race (and recommended build) is welcome! Please and thank you!
