Dust of Sneezing and Choking interaction VS Necklace of Adaptation

The Necklace should allow them to breathe, but would they still need to make the save to prevent the sneezing aspect? It says creatures that need to breathe must make the save, and the necklace allows them to breathe no matter what. If they are affected, would they be incapacitated by the sneezing? I think that the necklace at a minimum would stop them from suffocating. What are people's thoughts?

I would rule that the dust is a poison in all but name, and thus the necklace would provide total immunity to its effects.

I would say RAW it does little to nothing against the dust. The dust does con damage and stuns, it does not cause the effects of drowning or suffocating, fluff notwithstanding.

I would say RAW the necklace grants immunity. It wraps the wearer in a shell of fresh air.

Furthermore, the dust's spell to craft it is Poison, so it's clearly an airborne poison.
