Oath of the Crown Paladin for Waterdeep Dragon Heist

Me and a small few of friends have decided to run Dragon Heist, our first adventure book. Keeping with tradition, I hit the paladin button (it’s my favorite class). However, I’m racking my brain over the backstory of what an Oath of the Crown could be. I know this post is vague, but I’m simply asking for you all to spitball some ideas (my idea well is dry) for this character’s backstory, and how it could fit well into the setting of the book.
