In strip 1110, roy says skip him due to getting a headache from the wand of protection from Law. Did I read that right?

...yes, because he is Lawful, Protection from Law causes him pain in the same way that Protection from Evil causes Belkar pain.

Much like the Protection of Evil clasp hurts Belkar, because he's Evil, a Protection from Law spell hurts Roy, because he's Lawful.

Belkar is pained from his Protection from Evil clasp because he is Evil. Therefore, Roy would be pained by a Protection from Law spell because he is Lawful.
