I know there has been quite a bit of talk about warlocks recently and i have develpoed an interest in playing one. My only question is would is seem unbalancing to let hideous blow be channeled into a dagger that is then thrown? I know it says a melee attack. But the idea i have is for a halfling "rouge". 1st lvl halfing rouge then warlock until i can take daggerspell mage. I know it isn't an optimized build. Sadly i can only use invocations from comp arcane .
So the question , again, Would it seem unbalanced to make hideous blow work with thrown daggers?

I suppose. +1d4 damage, minor range, and it's no longer a touch attack. Doesn't sound all that problematic. Having eldritch blast stack with sneak attack is not generally all that problematic either.

i cant see how it could be unbalanced in any way when we compare it with fx arcane trickster, who got both arcane casting and sneak attack for the rays.

(btw, much more fitting avatar Kurald Galain  )

Unless your DM is changing the reqs you have a problem. Daggerspell requires x lvl spells not caster levels if I remember correctly. So the Warlock can not qualify.
