Do you add proficiency to Magic stone when you throw it?

Do other characters if they throw your magic stones?

It's a ranged spell attack so yes.

Also yes since it's still a ranged spell attack plus they use the spell caster's total to hit bonus not their own.

“that attacker adds your spellcasting ability modifier“, I read that to be the caster’s ability modifier plus the wielder’s Proficiency Bonus

OK that is correct. I didn't take into account that the characters may be different levels.

Scratch the invisible part. The imp becomes visible once it attacks.

Yeah, but it can throw a stone and then go invisible again; it's an at-will ability. The action economy could be better, though.
